I love the food here. It has always been one of my to go restaurant if I want some authentic chinese food like how it is back home. Many of my friends are loyal customers now too after I introduced to them this place. The service is okay, food is delicious:) Hope this revise can help

First time coming here and as a vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I came at lunch but the bubble teas might very well be best in the city, maybe even region. The noodles were spot on and the servers were pleasent and very quick. 8.5 out of 10, will frequent again

2 words, DON'T GO. Terrible meat dish, had to ask them to take it back. Broccoli/mushroom dish looked good, not tasty. 1st time review in my whole life. Thought I put this out there for anyone interested in trying new things.

Over priced and the food was really poor. Not a lot leftover and not very tasty overall.

Go to other Chinese cuisine, but don’t go Tang. By the way I’m not a business owner trying to make you guys hate or not to choose Tang, you will come back to rate them a 1 star after you try them. We’ll see...

Honestly the best Chinese food I have had by far. I don't know what you did to the rice but it's amazing. This is not something I regularly order but we will be ordering from here again. Crazy good. Thank you kitchen staff.

This is a super great delicious Chinese food restaurant! Their test looks like what I have had at China.

A terrible meal. Ordered takout 3 items ....fried rice...Overcooked short grain rice with frozen vegs, s/s/ chicken, ...tiny little chicken pieces with a little s/s sauce not enough for 2 people, Cantonese chow mien.....we threw it out the noodles were burned black, the veg overcooked and the 1 shrimp tasted bad, the beef slices were gooey the fish was that imitation crab with no colour it had been cooked so long.. we live fairly close so thought it would be handy for future orders....never again

This is definitely the BEST Chinese food in St. Catharines. There are many authentic Chinese (Cantonese) dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. There are also some Chinese/North American dishes. The vegetables are fresh and delicately spiced in a variety of sauces. Perfect rice. I go for lunch at least once a week. Chef Chien-yi is a remarkable cook. I wish I could try everything on the menu. So far, Basil Chicken is my favorite. Deep fried banana is simply delicious. Whenever I go, there are several Chinese patrons, a sure sign this place is the real thing. Wonderful! Don’t miss it.

Takes forever to get takeout. They say ready in 35 minutes but you should add 15 minutes to that. Taste of food is average, nothing special

Ordered General tao chicken I got something completely different it didnt even have the same spicy sauce as its supposed to, and my lemon chicken was not even pieces of chicken it was a whole breast dipped in batter with lemon sauce on it. it tasted not even close to what it was supposed to. sadly never going back there again i wish i had a closer chinese place near me i love chinese food :( 0/5

Worse Chinese food I ever had, lots of onions with few mushrooms and fewer beef.

I ordered Cantonese chowmein take out. I asked for no peppers, no msg and no pork to please add extra chicken instead. What I got was burned noodles that looked like they were a week old, small scraggly chicken and beef portions and 2 small pieces of shrimp. Some small brocilli and rubber something I dont even know what it was. It was a small dish for the $11 plus tax they charged me. The whole dish was a 0 but I had to put one star so I can let everyone know my experience . There was 1 customer in there so that should have told me to turn around and go somewhere else. Sorry but this place was a huge disappointment.

We love the authentic cuisine at Tang. Usually I skip the Caucasian 'white guy' menu, and ask my server for a recommendations from their Chinese specialty menu... I am always impressed.The staff are friendly and brilliant with their menu suggestions, and the kitchen puts a big effort into presenting an appealing and tasty (sometimes spicey) quality meal.Best of all, they have not spent a fortune on decorations, and the environment is causal and relaxed!Great food, convenient, fast and friendly!Ian

Soild Chinese food very friendly great price.

Worst food for the worst price. Got the fish fillet with seafood fried rice and fried shrimp they both tasted really bad. The fish fillet was frozen and not cooked well fried shrimp batter was soggy tasted weird. If you want to buy anything from here I advice you not too. #worstchinesefood

Food isn't very tasty here and way too expensive in my opinion.

Not impressed at all. Very small portions. Fried rice tasteless. Ordered mango Chicken it was bit of deep fried chicken overs bed of salad with thousand island dressing. Not worth the money. Do not recommend.

My favourite chinese food restaurant n St. Catharines. I've never ordered take-out as I prefer to eat my food fresh. The decor is really clean and modern with attentive servers. My favourite dishes are Thai Style Tofu, Beef Tenderloin with black pepper sauce on a sizzling plate, and minced pork with green beans. I highly recommend!

I don't know how they survive the business....... It was tasteless and made me unhappy:((((( Even thought your typical fried rice should be easy to make, it was garbage...I believe 1 star customers are real customers. I don't know how people can give 5 stars......

Not worth the money.

Went to Tang to have dinner with my family. First time going and I'll never go again. One family member received cold shrimp fried rice and no one received anything else for over 10 minutes. We ordered General Tao's chicken, mixed vegetables, and wonton soup. These dishes tasted off and the vegetables were very undercooked. The servers were unfriendly and rarely visited our table. 0/5 will never go again!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food was horrible. Don't waste your money. You are better off going to mandarin.

Horrible, bland food. The wonton soup tasted like dirty bath water. Wontons were mushy and overcooked. Pad Thai was tasteless, underwhelming. The only saving grace was the salt and green tea. Not worth your money.

Slightly better than usual Chinese

We had take out last night, it was horrible, they will never get anymore of my money, yuk. Do yourself a favor stay away!

St Catharines best Chinese restaurant

Tasteless garbage. Ordered Cashew Tofu. Was suppose to have a spicy sauce but had zero spice on it. Tasted like chicken broth but there should be no meat at all without it being mentioned on the menu.

They give us wrong order and still charge money on it. Worst manager ever, and he didn't share tips to employee.

Favorite delivery place. They have tasty dim sum and a good menu.

I just ordered two Chicken Pad Thai - It tasted like ketchup and nothing else, I have never had such a bad Pad Thai 'ever' - also asked if I wanted it spicy and there was no spice. So disappointed.

The Tao chicken was excellent, like the crispy beef, the ribs were great, the wings were fine, but the one dish that took it down to a four was the chow mein, it could be better

Absolutely no Tang in this food...bland, tasteless and no spice at all. Ordered the General Tao Chicken & Pad Thai.

As a foodie, I would definitely rate this place 9/10. I've been to several chinese restaurant in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls but the food quality and service provided here is really good.I've been to this restaurant several times now and I noticed that the new management team is handling the restaurant pretty well. The manager, Lu, is welcoming, friendly and attentive towards the customers.I would definitely love to go back for some really good chinese cuisine.

Where do I even begin? This is even worse than a pick 3 items Chinese food court food. Who substitutes deli meat for bbq pork in a Yang chow fried rice which also had very little shrimp in it. This is definitely not authentic Chinese food. Whoever gave them 5 stars must have been their friends who are trying to offset the 3.2 rating that they have. I should have read the reviews before stopping by this place. Tables were super sticky. Like another reviewer said, If I can select 0 I would. Needless to say but We didn't finish our food.

Very poor service. Food was unappetizing, and there was very little meat in our "sweet and sour pork". The item here should be called sweet and sour bread instead. We asked for an item change but they said since we already touched it, they will not take it back. She was very dismissive of anything we brought up.The vegetables also were not cleaned properly. Thr mapotofu also contained no ground pork at all. Do not recommend.

Food was over salted. Noodles were oily. The food we wanted to order wasn't available. Service wasn't great, there was a family that went in and the server dropped everything to help them out instead. Seemed like they knew each other.
